When praying and discerning whether to return to the mission field, this verse kept on springing up to me over and over Psalm 139:9-10 this will be my motto in a way (hence the name of the site!). I’ll be confident that God will use this time to teach me many things and I rejoice in the lessons being learnt in the process. I cannot wait to be led into the next stages and to be able to serve Christ in whatever and wherever He leads. My hope is that through this website you’ll be encouraged by what God is doing on the other side of the world and that I will be encouraged by what is happening back home. I have learned and believe that Missions is a
partnership. Each of us by virtue of our baptism is called to share the Gospel with others, however not all of us are called beyond the borders of our home country to do so. Those who are called to “go” need the partnership, prayer and financial support of others. Those who are called to “stay” need contact with missions to develop God’s heart for the nations and receive encouragement for the work they are doing at home which is also essential.   |
